Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Kudret Özersay sent a message of condolence to the Italian Foreign Minister regarding the dramatic collapse of the highway bridge in Genoa.
Özersay’s message is as follows:
“I have learned with great sorrow that many people have lost their lives in the tragic event of the collapse of Morandi Bridge. On behalf of my government and the Turkish Cypriot People, I wish to express my deepest condolences to the families of the victims, to the Italian state and people and a quick recovery to the wounded people.”
