We have recently been witnessing an increase in acts of terror in various parts of the world which have claimed many lives. Most recently, Brussels has been added to Ankara, Paris and Istanbul as the victim of treacherous terror attacks which have targeted innocent civilians. While we strongly condemn these attacks, we also share the profound pain that they have caused.

Irrespective of who perpetrated them and for what reason, it is amply clear that these terror attacks which have claimed many innocent lives will not succeed in achieving their purpose. As we express our solidarity with the rest of the world, we would also like to emphasize the importance of international cooperation in the fight against terrorism. We hope that the perpetrators of these atrocious acts will be identified and persecuted and that all acts of terrorism will find their end.

We offer our deepest condolences to the loved ones of those who lost their lives and wish a speedy recovery to those who have been injured in the events.
