The 2nd Traditional Yeşilırmak Strawberry Trek will be held from Vouni Palace (Bademliköy) to Yeşilırmak on Sunday 27 March, 2016. The trek will start from Vouni Palace which is the only ruin remaining from the Persian Empire in Cyprus and will continue to the area called “Daughter of Paradise” in which there is the chapel that represents three religions and finally the trekkers will reach the “Pirate Cave”. During the trek the largest verigo vine in Cyprus which is featured in the Guinness Book of World Records will be visited. There will also be an opportunity to photograph the famous Petra Island with its ruins from the Neolithic age.
