A law for keeping ‘records of passengers’

Greek Ministry of Justice and Transparency presented a resolution to the Greek Parliament about the passengers who use airlines envisaging to keep records of passengers in spite of being rejected by the European Parliament.

The Greek Cypriot newspaper Haravgi published in a news under the title :“Records of Passengers will be kept in spite of  being rejected by the European Parliament” that according to the European instruction,  airline companies have to give the information of passengers who travel within the EU borders, to the member states of European Union. The newspaper stated that, the member states started this research in order to analyze and save these information with the purpose of clarifying the terrorist actions and serious crimes.
