Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Cavuşoğlu and Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Kocias met in Ankara yesterday. They discussed Cyprus issue at the meeting as well. “Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu stated that they have determination about encouragement of both sides and the leaders as Turkey and Greece on Cyprus issue, “we should help them” he said. Underlining in his speech during a joint press meeting that the common will is available for a settlement on Cyprus problem Cavusoglu continued: “The resumption of negotiations is an important development. We have the will for a settlement in Cyprus under the common declaration with both of the leaders on 11th February, 2014. I would like to express my belief that we will reach a permanent solution this year, if the Greek Cypriots and Greece have a similar will.”
