Claim for agreement on mobile phone communication  

Greek Kathimerini newspaper claimed that it has come to the final stage of efforts for connecting mobile phone communication networks of both sides. On the other hand; it was claimed that sides agreed on both commercial and technical issues. The newspaper also noted that the new mobile communication will be realized thanks to the political will shown by President Mustafa Akıncı and Greek Cypriot leader Nikos Anastasiadis for linking the mobile phone networks. The newspaper also wrote that  Akıncı and Anastasiadis gave great importance to this confidence-building measures.
