Foreign Minister of Turkey Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu paid a visit to Foreign Minister Emine Çolak. Çavuşoğlu examined “TRNC Ministry of Foreign Affairs Information and e-archive Infrastructure Project” at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs which is being conducted with the cooperation of the two Foreign Ministries.
Speaking first at the meeting, Foreign Minister Emine Çolak expressed her gratitude for the visit of Çavuşoğlu and his delegation. Çolak wished Çavuşoğlu success in his mission. Çolak also stated that they will inform Çavuşoğlu about foreign relations conducted by the TRNC Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the developments of the Cyprus negotiation process and support of the TRNC Ministry of Foreign Affairs given to the negotiation process.
Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu thanked Emine Çolak and he stated that there is a good mutual tradition of visits between the TRNC and Turkey.
Çavuşoğlu said that they will discuss the Cyprus negotiation process, the contributions of the Foreign Minister to the negotiation process, how they can improve the mutual relations between the TRNC and Turkey, the project of the century and cooperation between the Ministries.
