Foreign Minister Emine Çolak went to İstanbul today in order to attend the “8th Global Forum on Migration and Development Summit Meeting” hosted by Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey Feridun Sinirlioğlu between the dates of 14-16 October in İstanbul.

Minister Çolak will attend the forum as the Head of Committee which is comprised of Private Secretary Hüseyin Özel, Immigration Office Director Hasan Hacılar, State Planning Organization Planning Specialist Orhan Çağansel and Vice Director of Immigration Office of Police General Directorate Chief Inspector Fevzi Öztümen who will accompany Minister Çolak.

The summit is comprised of issues such as states, international organizations, cooperation between civil society and private sector and effective management of international migration. Foreign Minister Çolak will also hold various contacts during the Summit in which senior officials of international organizations and representatives of non-governmental organizations will participate.
