Foreign Minister Nami: “Ankara visit was very fruitful”

Minister of Foreign Affairs Özdil Nami returned to the island after completing his contacts in Ankara. Stating that his contacts were very fruitful, FM Nami gave the message that his contacts with Turkish authorities on the issues of EU harmonization works and Cyprus problem will continue.

In his statement to BRT at Ercan Airport, FM Nami said that his meetings were very fruitful.

“We have exchanged views regarding the latest stage reached in the negotiations, support given for our European Union harmonization works and how to take a step further and the other issues regarding bilateral relations. We have also taken some decisions to actualize these with concrete projects. In this respect, Ankara visit was very fruitful” Nami added.
