The Minister of Foreign Affairs Özdil Nami received students and the Director of Washington American University, Peace and Conflict Resolution Program, Associate professor Elefterios Michael yesterday.
In his speech during the reception, FM Nami briefed the students about the Cyprus history, execution of foreign affairs of the Turkish Cypriots and the procedure followed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Moreover, FM Nami briefed them about the negotiation process and the role of the Ministry at the negotiations and answered the questions of the students.
Later on, Minister Nami received the Board of Directors and sportsmen of Judo, Hapkido and Kickbox Federation yesterday.
The President of Judo, Hapkido and Kickbox Federation Niyazi Demirel informed FM Nami about 2014 ISKA World Kickbox Championship to be held during 30 April – 4 May 2014 in Spain’s Costa Brava city.
Demirel thanked to Nami for contributions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to TRNC Kickbox National Team who will represent our county in this championship.
