Foreign Minister Nami starts “Bike Tour for Peace”

“Bike Tour for Peace” which was organised within the framework of activities for 40th. Anniversary of 20th. July Peace and Freedom Day was started by Minister of Foreign Affairs Özdil Nami in front of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

In his speech, FM Nami said “ I hope from now on Greek Cypriots will hold Turkish Cypriots’ hand for peace ” and added that Turkish Cypriot side’s main target is peace. Moreover, FM Nami stressed that war veterans named this activity as “peace” because it is an important and meaningful message which shows identification of Turkish nation’s character with peace.

Around 30 sportsmen from TRNC, Turkey and Russia including war veterans joined the activity.
