Stating that even if Hellens stay alone, they will struggle together, Greece President Prokopis Pavlopulos gave the guarantee of “United Hellenism Front”.
Pavlopulos said before leaving South Cyprus that Greek Power (ELDIK) will stay here in order to impose a sustainable solution to the Cyprus problem together with the Greek Cypriot National Guard Army in the South Cyprus.
According to Greek Cypriot daily Fileleftheros, Pavlopulos argued that it would be to the advantage of Turkey if they improve their relations with Greece and said “If we stay alone, Hellens, Greeks and Cypriots will struggle altogether”.
Furthermore, Pavlopulos said that ELDIK’s staying in the island has national targets and added that “ELDIK’s struggle is common with the struggle of Greek Cypriot Armed Forces. This is Hellenism’s struggle for freedom”.
