A tripartite agreement was signed last Wednesday (13th April) between Israel, South Cyprus and Greece for the protection of Mediterranean marine environment and to deal with the possible marine pollution that may occur due to the hydrocarbon drilling activities.
According to the report of the Greek Cypriot daily Politis, the agreement was signed by Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment Nikos Kuyalis who is making an official visit to Israel on behalf of the Greek Cypriot Administration.
