Minister Çolak received Doğanoğlu and her accompanying delegation

Foreign Minister Emine Çolak received Vice President of the Council of Europe Congress of Local and Regional Authorities Gaye Doğanoğlu and her accompanying delegation. President of the Turkish Cypriot Association of Municipalities (KTBB) and Gönyeli Mayor Ahmet Y. Benli and Güzelyurt Mayor Mahmut Özçınar were also present at the meeting.

In her speech during the reception, Doğanoğlu expressed her pleasure for being in the TRNC and she also stated that the status of delegation and representation was given back to KTBB last year at the Council of Europe Congress of Local and Regional Authorities and she added that this was a welcoming development.

Minister Çolak stated that the status of delegation and representation was given back to KTBB last year at the Council of Europe Congress of Local and Regional Authorities and she said that this will provide more active participation of the Turkish Cypriot local administrators in the meetings and added that this was a gratifying development.
