Minister Ertuğruloğlu meets with Altun
Minister of Foreign Affairs Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu met with the Turkish Presidency’s Head of Communications Fahrettin Altun on the sidelines of the 4th International Strategic Communication Summit (STRATCOM SUMMIT 24) held in İstanbul.
During the meeting, Foreign Minister Ertuğruloğlu emphasized the importance of following new developments in the field of communication.
Stating that Türkiye’s knowledge and experience should be utilized to open new horizons in this field, Ertuğruloğlu requested support for in-service training of the staff of the Turkish News Agency (TAK) and the Bayrak Radio and Television Corporation (BRT), as well as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Ertuğruloğlu further stressed that Türkiye’s communication support is crucial for ensuring that the voice of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus is heard.
For his part, Altun expressed readiness to cooperate on communication related changes and developments, offering all necessary support to the TRNC.
