The Minister of Foreign Affairs Özdil Nami who is holding a series of high level contacts in the US met with Christopher Smart, the Special Assistant to the President of the United States Barack Obama and the Director for Turkish, Greek and Cyprus Affairs at National Security Council Christina Bobrow  yesterday.

 

During the meeting, Nami evaluated the issues discussed during the negotiation process and expressed that if the US continues to support solution of Cyprus problem, it will be very helpful for the negotiation process in Cyprus.

 

Moreover, expressing that the meeting has a great importance in terms of US’s high level interest for the negotiation process in Cyprus, Mr. Nami said that all issues were discussed during the meeting which  took place in a positive atmosphere.
