Özdil Nami: “We are constructive however the Greek side comes to the table with extreme points”

In a speech he made at the General Council meeting of the Assembly, Foreign Minister Özdil Nami indicated that they feel deep sadness regarding the incident in Musul and wished that it will be solved in a short time. Nami said that there are problems created by the Greek side however it is not right to talk about problems which do not exist.
Minister Nami recorded that problems exist on the territory issue; Turkish side is constructive however the Greek side comes to the table with extreme points and added that this does not mean that the negotiations will be stopped.
Minister Nami pointed out that they defend respect for past convergences and the geographic map should be discussed at the end of the negotiations.
