Özersay had official contacts in Abu Dhabi
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Kudret Özersay who attended the 46th OIC Foreign Ministers Council Meeting in Abu Dhabi also attended the reception given by the Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum and the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates, Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan in honour of the guest Foreign Ministers.
Minister Özersay met with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov, Afghanistan Foreign Minister Salahuddin Rabbani, Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister, Ambassador Sedat Önal, Kosovo Foreign Minister Behgjet Pacolli and also the Secretary-General of the OIC Al-Othaimeen within the framework of his contacts in Abu Dhabi
In the statement regarding his bilateral meetings in Abu Dhabi, Özersay said: “We explained our vision and expectations from the international community and we also gave information about the latest situation in our country. We shall continue to work in order to increase the visibility of the Turkish Cypriot People and to make our voice heard at international platforms.”
Following his contacts, Minister Özersay returned to the TRNC last night (3rd March).
