Photography exhibition of Panicos Neocleous to be opened in Girne

Greek Cypriot artist Panicos Neocleous’s individual photography exhibition entitled “Beauties of our Common Cyprus” which consists of 41 works of art and reflects the separate 41 years of the Turkish Cypriots and the Greek Cypriots will be opened on Thursday 15 October, in Girne at the Grand Pasha Hotel.

Girne Mayor Nidai Güngördü expressed that he believes that art is the most important factor which will bring the two communities living in Cyprus closer and that they wished to contribute to peace with such an activity. Güngördü invited the people to visit the exhibition.

Who is Panicos Neocleus?

Panicos Neocleus was born in Tahtakale-Lefkoşa. He is an engineer, writer, painter and photograph artist. In the last 26 years, he organized many exhibitions and art activities with Turkish Cypriot artists in other countries. His two books were translated into Turkish. This exhibition is the fourth individual exhibition organized within two years.
