Turkish Cypriot member of the Committee on Missing Persons Gülden Plümer Küçük stated that new information will be investigated regarding the missing persons in Paşaköy and if there is a positive result the required work will be started.

In her statement to TAK reporter, Küçük stated that some rumours reached them in the past about Paşaköy but the Committee didn’t carry out any excavation work because the reliability of the research couldn’t be confirmed.

Indicating that there is new witness information now, Küçük said: “There is a rumour that a Turkish Cypriot witness gave information to a Greek Cypriot journalist.”

Küçük mentioned that the committee will launch the necessary work in the event that there are considerable findings.

Furthermore, Gülden Plümer Küçük pointed out that the information which was provided by witnesses was 20-25% correct so far.
