The President of the European Parliament Martin Schulz, who paid visits in the island, visited the Anthropology Laboratory under the Committee on Missing Persons (CMP). Schulz met with CMP Members and the Committee’s Greek and Turkish Cypriot scientists and obtained information about their works and then he made a short press release.
Stating that he had a unique chance to meet with the CMP Members and representatives, Schulz said that he was impressed by CMP’s efforts and expressed his personal support as well as the critical role played by the European Parliament in ensuring the continuing support financially.
