The government got the vote of confidence

The CTP-BG / UBP coalition government which was established under the presidency of the Prime Minister Ömer Kalyoncu got the vote of confidence in parliament today.

 At the end of the open vote session at the council, 35 MPs voted in favor, 9 voted against and 6 did not participate.

At the end of the voting President of the Assembly Sibel Siber said that the Council of Ministers got the vote of confidence. Prime Minister Ömer Kalyoncu also took the floor after the vote, thanked everyone and said: “This mission is always a difficult duty; we will try to overcome together.” Prime Minister Kalyoncu noted that the criticisms and supports of the both positive and negative voters are important and added that citizens expect justice and welfare, and it is needed to increase the employment opportunities. Kalyoncu also noted that it can be achieved by not only the work of politicians, but hard work of everyone.
