Tender for Agios Panteleimonas Monastery

Technical Committee on Cultural Heritage and the UN Development Programme for the Future Partnership Project (UNDP-PFF), is going out to tender regarding the protection works of Agios Panteleimonas Monastery in Çamlıbel. According to the written statement of UNDP, Monastery of Agios Panteleimonas is in mega projects such as restoring Apostolos Andreas Monastery, Othello’s Castle, and Famagusta city walls and it is also considered as a large scaled, great historical and social valued by the Technical Committee on Cultural Heritage.

It was also stated that protection works in the monastery will be met by the Cultural Heritage Programme amounting 6.7 million euros of UNDP-PFF and thirty-three cultural heritage monuments are currently being safeguarded by the Technical Committee on Cultural Heritage through this programme.
